President / Owner
With a diversified background in employee benefits, group retirement and planning, Nick recognized the dire need to bring a higher level of personalized service to the financial services industry. After co-founding Calla Financial Services Ltd. with his wife Ida, Nick has sought to build his business by providing a workplace that attracts and retains quality employees. His approach to including employees as part of his family is also a process that his company adopts for its clients.
IDA SUE CALLA
Ida brings more than 30 years of combined office management experience in her role as operations manager for Calla Financial Services Ltd. Before co-founding the company she worked in the insurance industry for over 12 years, cultivating a deep knowledge of the industry and building relationships. Her familiarity in organization development theories and methods benefit both the people working for Calla Financial Services Ltd. as well as the clients we provide services to.
Manager - Group Retirement, Licensed Financial Advisor
Amanda has been with Calla Financial Services Ltd. for more than 10 years. Throughout this duration, Amanda has been a Licensed Financial Advisor providing services and support to all of our group retirement clients. In 2012 Amanda was appointed as Manager – Group Retirement. Amanda is currently working towards CEBS accreditation and an RPA designation through IFEBP. Amanda is a dedicated resource to plan members of our group retirement clients, providing personalized one on one planning assistance. Amanda is responsible for group retirement business development and ongoing group retirement service.
Amanda is a wife, mother of 2 and can be found on the soccer field, cheering for her kids on the sidelines or hiking the North Shore trails with her mini bull terrier Twinkie.
CORY ST. JEAN
Manager - Group Benefits, Client Services
Corey comes to Calla Financial with over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits industry working with diverse employee groups in the credit union, professional association and multi-employer sectors.
He is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), a graduate of the BCIT Human Resource Management Program and believes strongly in lifelong learning.
Cory`s commitment to provide quality benefit plans that meets the needs of his clientele exemplifies his professionalism and expertise. He is passionate about putting the client first, working collaboratively with colleagues and building lasting relationships with all stakeholders. Cory’s professional motto is, “There Is Always A Better Way” and he applies that to all aspects of service delivery to clients.
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Cory is a lifelong fan of the Winnipeg Jets, an avid curler and golfer, and enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and solving puzzles of any kind.

Tiziana has been with Calla Financial Services Ltd. for over nine years which makes her one of the senior representatives in our team. Her Calla expertise and more than a decade of experience in leading national bank and insurance company allow Tiziana to administer elaborate group retirement plans.
Tiziana`s professionalism and outgoing personality have been a great benefit to our team because of her quality of servicing, quick understanding of questions as well as immediate solutions.
Long years of experience in the financial services industry has made Tiziana very passionate about her job. Her dedication reflects the quality of service she provides. Her clients count on her any time of day when they have a question or concern. That`s why her professional motto has always been “The clients come first”.
Tiziana is a mother of two. She loves spending time with her family, especially watching her son play hockey and her daughter dance.

Mina has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry working with major insurance companies such as Canada Life (Great-West Life), Green Shield Canada, Sun Life and Manulife. Mina`s professionalism guarantees the most cost-effective and compatible plans for her clients.
According to Mina, the finance industry is all about “building personal connections with clients” therefore she is willing to go above and beyond to strengthen relationships with them. She finds great job satisfaction knowing that she’s made her client’s life easier!
Account Manager - Group Benefits
Denise comes to Calla Financial Services Ltd. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry with an emphasis on Group Benefits working with major carriers and advisors in Canada and the US. Denise's focus is on the client and has been called “Client Obsessed” as she will work tirelessly to ensure the client continually has a good client experience and their needs are fulfilled. Always respectful and professional she strives to ensure your interactions with her are a positive experience.
Originally from Washington state, her passion for cooking was inherited from her father who was a chef and she attended culinary school in Tuscany Italy to hone her skills and loves cooking for friends and family.

Jenny joins Calla Financial Services with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry working with major insurance companies. She is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and has her GBA designation.
Jenny was born and raised in the lower mainland and currently lives in Port Coquitlam with her husband, two young children and a dog, Foster. When she’s not at work you will find her enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Running, going to the gym, and walking along the many spectacular trails the Lower Mainland has to offer are some of her favourite hobbies.
Account Manager - Group Retirement
Rick comes to Calla Financial Services Ltd. with over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, helping individuals and groups achieve financial security and freedom no matter their situation and future goals.
Rick was born and raised in the Shuswap area of B.C. He currently lives in North Vancouver with his wife Maricel and son Benjamin.
Rick enjoys spending time with his family and continues his personal growth by learning Spanish and travelling. Rick is a big hockey fan and likes watching the Canucks, especially when they win!
Client Services Representative, Group Retirement | Individual Services
Rita has more than 25 years of client and customer service experience and has always been committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible. Fostering strong relationships and becoming a trusted partner is Rita’s main focus.
Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Rita enjoys the outdoors and the many local trails. She lives in Coquitlam with her husband, two sons and Olde English Bulldog.
When she’s not at work, you will find her spending time with family and friends, watching her boys play lacrosse and volunteering her time with Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse. Rita is an avid cook and enjoys shopping at local farmers' markets for fresh local ingredients.
Coordinator - Group Benefits
Lauren Teasdale comes to Calla Financial Services with more than 5 years of group benefits experience. As a service representative, Lauren acts as the liaison between plan administrators and the benefits carriers.
Lauren started her career in early 2015 working for a national Third Party Administrator in the New Business department providing financial quotes to Advisor partners. Over the years her responsibilities increased as she transitioned to a Client Manager role.
Lauren believes in continuous learning and personal development; therefore, she is working towards a GBA designation through IFEBP.
Lauren was born and raised in the tri-cities and currently reside in Maple Ridge with her husband, 2 sons and step-daughter. When Lauren is not at work, you will find her cheering on her children at the hockey rink, lacrosse box and soccer field.
Claims Advocate & Client Service Representative
Danijela comes to Calla Financial Services Ltd. with almost ten years of insurance industry experience, with the last six years being strictly in benefits. She has experience in quoting, underwriting, and account managing.
Danijela`s experience, compassionate personality and willingness to help makes her a great ‘middle-man’ between the plan administrators, employees and insurance carriers.
Danijela was born in Croatia, raised in Germany and has been living in Canada since 2000. She lives in the lower mainland with her husband, one-year-old daughter, and Boston Terrier pup.
Danijela’s hobbies include: spending as much time as possible outdoors in nature, cooking, travelling and reading.
AJ (Ece) BOZ FULTON
Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
AJ has built her career in sales with a variety of roles in several industries including tourism, aviation, and transportation. After 7 years of experience, she has decided to shift her focus towards a career in marketing so she moved to Canada and enrolled in a Marketing Diploma at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is responsible for the creation and management of all marketing activities and materials you can think of at Calla Financial.
AJ loves outdoors; she is a big camper and hiker. She supports Vancouver`s Greenest City goals, therefore, commutes with her bike as her primary mode of transportation. AJ also has a great passion for traveling, sustainable architecture, interior design, and photography. According to her Vancouver is a great subject, therefore, you may come across her out on the street while bicycling and taking pictures, exploring the natural environment in Vancouver.
Marilyn is Calla Financial`s new Office Administrator and will welcome you to our office with her friendly smile and assist your phone calls with both courtesy and professionalism. She has more than 25 years of customer service in hospitality and liquor industries. She is an efficient worker and a great team member who coordinates everything in the office.
Marilyn is a long-time resident of the North Shore who is raising two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals.
